NOTHING TO HIDE
The Most Holy Trinity is the perfect model of open interaction: the
interaction of Three Persons who have nothing
to hide from each other, who are true to one another,
who live for one another. That is the model of interaction that should
be followed by the human race.
Today, Jesus invites us to be part of the Trinity: "Baptize
them in the name of the Father and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"
(Matthew. 28:19)
Our world tries to hide its actions.
In a world where human beings destroy one another and they pretend to
give the appearance of righteousness, it is inevitable that the evildoers
(individuals or nations) would try to hide the offenses they inflict.
One of the means to hide their offenses from people's eyes is isolationism.
Isolation is a means to avoid that the truth
be openly known.
The offender isolates himself from his crimes pretending that they do
not exist. For instance, by not speaking about the horrors of his wars,
the offender keeps the public in ignorance. Thus,
the offender has free rein, so he believes, to continue
with impunity his evil acts
The Trinity must live in every human being.
The Trinity lives in those who do not hide anything from their fellow
human beings, in those who promote peace, justice, compasion, understanding,
respect, unity and equality, for they are witnesses of God's
life before the eyes of humanity.
